DEKRA has reinforced its commitment to innovation and safety in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region with an impressive expansion of its testing and certification capabilities in recent months. In Mainland China, DEKRA has expanded and upgraded its facilities in key locations, including Shanghai Jiading, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Kunshan and Hefei. These state-of-the-art facilities have been designed to support the growing needs of the electric vehicle, renewable energy and telecom sectors. Following the DEKRA Shanghai Renewable Energy Testing Center—the largest solar lab in Baoshan—the new inverter laboratory in Suzhou focuses on testing and certifying inverter products and energy storage systems, complementing existing capabilities and reinforcing DEKRA’s sustainability initiatives. The automotive lighting and electric vehicle testing labs in Shanghai Jiading ensure optimal performance and safety for electric mobility systems, while the Guangzhou AIoT laboratory offers comprehensive services for IoT, wireless communication, and smart home products. The Hefei EMC & RF Testing Center specializes in telecom product testing, further enhancing DEKRA's capabilities in evaluating EMC&RF and electromagnetic field exposure for radio devices. DEKRA has also strengthened its presence in Taiwan by enhancing its Automotive Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) capabilities, safety testing, reliability, and cybersecurity at a new branch office in Linkou.
